Shinedown premieres new 'Planet Zero' song "Daylight"

Shinedown has premiered a new song called "Daylight," which will appear on the band's upcoming album, Planet Zero.

In a statement, frontman Brent Smith describes "Daylight" as being about "the human condition."

"We've got to live, and we've got to live with one another," Smith shares. "And that should be something that is celebrated and not tolerated. That's what 'Daylight' really represents. It's our humanity."

You can listen to "Daylight" now via digital outlets and watch its accompanying lyric video streaming now on YouTube.

"Daylight" is the third Planet Zero song to be released, following the title track and the cut "The Saints of Violence and Innuendo." The album arrives in full on July 1.
