JEA issues precautionary boil water advisory for southwest Duval County, Oakleaf community

(None)

A precautionary boil water advisory has been issued for parts of southwest Duval County and the Oakleaf community.

According to JEA, a water main break on 103rd Street on Jacksonville’s Westside is prompting the advisory.

JEA says customers in the impacted area should boil water that’s used for drinking, preparing food, or use bottled water instead. It says water should be brought to a rolling boil for at least one minute before use.
