Linkin Park teases previously unreleased song from 'Meteora' era

Warner Records

Linkin Park is digging up a previously unreleased song from the band's Meteora era.

The track, titled "Lost," will premiere Friday, February 10. You can presave it now and check out a preview via LP's Twitter.

Meteora, the sophomore following to 2000's RIAA Diamond-certified Hybrid Theory, was released in 2003 and will officially turn 20 this March. One might think that the "Lost" release may preview an upcoming 20th anniversary Meteora reissue, like Hybrid Theory got in 2020.

Meanwhile, Linkin Park just last week revamped their website, which now features various images and hints related to Meteora.

"Lost" will mark the first new music release from Linkin Park since that Hybrid Theory reissue. The "In the End" rockers have largely been quiet since the death of vocalist Chester Bennington in 2017 and haven't performed live since their tribute concert to Bennington that same year. Last April, co-vocalist Mike Shinoda said that Linkin Park didn't currently have any new music or live show plans.
