Stone Temple Pilots Might Have a New Lead Singer

Stone Temple Pilots are apparently moving forward despite losing two lead singers in the past two years, to death.

Their original singer Scott Weiland died of an overdose in 2015, and his replacement Chester Bennington killed himself earlier this year.

STP has a gig lined up for November 14th in West Hollywood. It's their first time hitting the stage since Chester's death. According to reports, they WILL have a new lead singer, but no one has any idea who it is.

Last month, bassist Robert DeLeo said, "We've been working with someone, I don't want to name names yet. We're making music. I don't know if he's well-known or unknown...I don't look at him as 'well-known.'"

One rumored name is former "X Factor" contestant Jeff Gutt. Watch some of his work below:

There's also been talk that they could go the "Journey" route, because there's a Filipino guy they've supposedly been looking at named John Borja. Here's John doing his thing on YouTube:

The last time the band was in town for Big Ticket, Tank sat down with band member Erik Kretz to talk about the latest on STP:
