Watch trailer for new Paul Thomas Anderson movie 'Licorice Pizza' starring Alana Haim

The trailer for the upcoming Paul Thomas Anderson movie Licorice Pizza, featuring HAIM member Alana Haim in her feature film debut, is out now.

Haim stars in the movie alongside Cooper Hoffman, the son of the late Philip Seymour Hoffman, as two young people "growing up, running around and falling in love in the San Fernando Valley, 1973." The trailer seems to reflect just that with some very witty, PTA-esque dialog and loving shots of '70s Southern California, all set to "Life on Mars?" by David Bowie.

The cast also includes Bradley Cooper, Maya Rudolph, Sean Penn and another musician, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Tom Waits. Licorice Pizza opens in select theaters November 26.

That Haim is making her major acting debut in an Anderson movie shouldn't be too much of a surprise, since the Boogie Nights filmmaker also directed several HAIM videos.
