Daniel seeks to raise $150,000 in 150 days to ‘Furnish Their Future’

Donations will provide furnishings and equipment for kids in crisis who stay at the cottage.

Jacksonville, Fl — Florida’s oldest child service agency is kicking off a campaign to raise $150,000 in 150 days to fully renovate its Creekside-Cedarwood Cottage. Daniel helps local children with mental health issues and coexisting developmental and intellectual differences receive specialized treatment.

The cottage is the only place within about 100 miles where this population, many of whom have experienced severe trauma, can receive therapeutic care. Daniel is in the final stage of fully renovating the cottage, which was originally built in the 1960s.

But first, they need to raise the final $150,000 to fully furnish the cottage with proper equipment for kids in crisis to receive quality care.
