X99.5 is teaming up with Jacksonville Porchfest to find a local band ready to ROCK THE PORCH on Saturday, November 7th. 2026!
Enter Battle for the Porch and you could score a 60–90 minute set at Porchfest + up to $500!

🔥 SEPT. 21–28 — JACKSONVILLE VOTES
- Get your fans involved! Public voting will narrow the battle down to the TOP 3.
🏆 THEN WE PICK THE WINNER
- The X99.5 + Porchfest crews will rank/vote on the finalists, and the band with the highest score WINS THE PORCH!
The Winning Band will win a performance at Porchfest 2026 + a performance stipend of up to $500!
Jacksonville PorchFest Performer requirements:
- Perform a 60-90-minute set, appropriate for an audience of ALL ages, on a Springfield resident’s porch.
- Be prepared to provide all necessary sound equipment, including power cords, microphones, instruments, etc. Power will be supplied by the house.
- Provide SPAR with a signed W9 form and all marketing materials (logos, images, social media accounts, etc) for the purposes of event promotion, due at the time of contract signing.
