Weezer is an alternative rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1992. Led by frontman Rivers Cuomo, the group became known for their catchy melodies, self-aware lyrics, and a blend of geek culture with classic rock influences. They broke into the mainstream with their 1994 self-titled debut (often called the “Blue Album”), featuring hits like “Buddy Holly” and “Say It Ain’t So.” Over the years, Weezer has remained a consistent presence in rock music, evolving their sound while maintaining a loyal fanbase.
