Over the weekend we went on the Hubbard House 17th annual stand up in stride domestic violence awareness walk and it was amazing everything was just as advertised. Positivity, great vibes, and walking. I didn’t love The Walking part but I gotta be honest with you it felt good to be out in the Jacksonville air amongst people who care about some of the same things that I do a special shout out to the entire group of people that joined my team The Walking talkies they were amazing and I got to go to lunch after with them and got to know them a little bit more and it really made me feel excited about the kind of people that you can touch on the radio. Next year we will do it again and hopefully have even more people on our team. Shout out to Riley from middays for coming out and joining the team and her husband Grady as well. Shout out to all the walkers who showed up and showed that we will not be silent in the face of domestic violence and that we actually give a damn and will do our very best to make a difference so that every relationship is safe.
